ABOUT SYDNEY

Sydney Beach Zester is an abstract artist based on the North Carolina coast. Building on traditional matrilineal quilting techniques, her work explores concepts of duality: joy and sorrow, gusto and grief, giddy and grim.

Sydney began working with textiles over 20 years ago as she trained under a master seamstress. Her work has shown in Los Angeles, CA, Palm Springs, CA, Washington, D.C., and Atlanta, GA.
